Mishima SkyWalk

Mishima SkyWalk

During the months of June and July, the hydrangeas on the 400m-long pedestrian-only suspension bridge 'Mishima Skywalk' are in full bloom.

The 7,000-m2 hydrangea promenade was planted with 5,000 hydrangea plants in 2017. The number of plants has grown steadily since then, and it has now become a well-known hydrangea spot with 13,000 plants of 205 varieties, including the valuable original varieties 'Skywalk', 'Haoh', and 'Natsuzora' that are only visible at Mishima Skywalk.

Hydrangeas can be enjoyed in different colors, not just blue and purple, but also pink and white.

The Nagai Umite Park, Soleil Hill, situated on a small hill on the Miura Peninsula, is a complex entertainment park that offers a range of ways to enjoy yourself. It covers an area of around 28 hectares, which is the equivalent of six Tokyo Dome areas.

A flower field with about 100,000 sunflowers blooms near the entry gate in the park, creating a landscape that will bring a smile to your face. The city center is only an hour away and it's easily accessible, so why not take a trip?

Around July, the 'Windmill Sunflower Garden' at Sakura Furusato Hiroba is a seasonal event that is both photogenic and full of blooming 15,000 sunflowers.

It is possible to enter the fields and take pictures, which will lead to beautiful shots such as this one with the square's symbol, the Dutch windmill, in the background. The appearance of sunflowers changes throughout the day, from morning to afternoon to evening, creating a stunning landscape. The picking area is where you can pick sunflowers during the event.

At Nasu Flower World in Tochigi Prefecture, there are flower fields that spread across a plateau at a height of around 600 meters. The Nasu Flower Lines feature colorful flowers painted on the ground as a canvas and are worth a visit. You'll be particularly captivated by the beauty of the Nemophila and Linaria in spring, and the Celosia in autumn.

The earth is breathtakingly beautiful thanks to the striking contrast of red and purple colors and the vibrant Lupines. Red and yellow flame-shaped flowers bloom in Celosia, which adds color to the autumn scenery.
